Due to operate in an specific market, RJMG programmes visits and thematic fairs in order to present its products to entrepreneurs. When there is interest, a pre-determined period test is conducted, in the end of which a partnership is established between both companies.

Developed by Emmanuel and Pio (read: RJMG), AGEM is a collector for flotation of phosphate, made from vegetal fatty acids (triglycerides) and raw soybean fatty acid transformed chemically and physically.

The production is carried out on demand. On the basis of an ore sample sent by the client (usually mining companies), a variant of AGEM is developed, adapted to each type of rock.

AGEM’s outstanding quality propitiates a great recovering performance, which results on minimal loss of phosphate (P₂O₅) from the ore of rejection, besides needing a smaller amount of product to extract this compound. That is to say it has a great technical coeficiente when the P₂O₅ recovery is compared to the colector’s consumption.  Thereby, it is possible to draw more phosphate using less input, which brings a better cost-benefit ratio for the production and higher added value to the final product.

Another advantage is the use of sustainable raw materials and by-products that would be disposed on the local environment, such as recovered waste oils. Afterall, contributing to a sustainable production is one of our goals.

RJMG Óleo Química is also developing an AGEM family product, directed to the beneficiation of sylvinite and the following potassium extraction.

RJMG also produces, also on demand, the product known in the branch of fertilizer blenders as anti-dusting.

It is used to allow the dust abatement on fertilizers’ grains when they are despatched or stored, avoiding environmental damage caused by the presence of aerosols or “chemical dust”. It also delivers an excellent performance as anti-caking.
